This was a very special day for the school.  We were visited by 11 adults from different professions who came to talk about their jobs and how they use writing.  The children were split into small groups and asked many interesting questions!  The adults were great and the children were absolutely enthralled!  We had a doctor, a sister nurse, a vicar, a Methodist minister, an architect, a financial advisor, an retired teacher, an environmental health officer, the chair of the Parish Council, an IT specialist and an MP!  Thank you so much to Doctor Waddy, Mrs Hickman, Rev. Whitehead, Mr Dawson, Mr Dodd, Mrs Baker, Mr Smith, Mr Lanham, Mr James, Rev. Dilley and our MP, Mrs Janet Dean.  Thanks also to our secretary, Mrs Hickman, who stepped in for a missing visitor!
