How Different People use Writing
Today in school we had some important visitors who
came to talk to us about how they use writing. There were many different
types of jobs represented. Everyone was put in a group and we interviewed
4 of the visitors to find out how they use writing in there jobs.
My group interviewed Mr Dodd he works in finance. He has a little mini
computer that helps him write a bit neater because he normally writes
scruffy. He gives money to people and companies. Sometimes if he needs to
text someone he does it on his computer but this year he said he was going
to
Spain
,
Brazil
and
America
. Mr Dodd writes on a computer most of the time but he does like writing.

A Wizard’s Pets
In their bedroom, the wizard kept:
Ten big frogs jumping around
Nine huge dragons fighting each other
Eight unicorns smoothing their horns
Seven horrible worms hiding in the jar
Six smooth owls’s looking for food
Five blue horses playing with grass
Four little ants hiding in the sugar pot
Three pigs turning green
Two snakes hiding in the grass
and One…… GUESS WHAT!?!
