We invited a variety of people from different industries, jobs and services to come into school and to speak to the children about how they use maths in their work.  The children met an architect, landlord, bursar, Sister at an eye clinic, cafe owner, two ladies from KP foods, a business owner, a school secretary/bursar, an ICT specialist and of course, Mr Tim Moss, our County advisor for maths!  Thank you so much to our visitors who really helped the children to see that maths has a purpose in the 'real world' outside school!
