Welcome to Key Stage 2!
We have two classes in KS2 - Class 3 (Year 3 / 4 children) and
Class 4 (Year 5 / 6 children).
Both classes have experienced days as a Victorian child, have buried a
mummy and had a day in the life of a courtier of Queen Elizabeth 1st when the
'Diversions' company visit. In Summer 2008 the children had a
full day learning about the Ancient Greeks and the importance of the
Olympic Games.
We have regular visits by special people, such as the poet and writer Terry Caffrey,
Simon Murray, the author of the 'Icky Do Dah' books and the Animal Man,
who joined us for his annual visit in April 2009. Author and
illustrator, Paul Geraghty, joined us for the day earlier this year.
He was fantastic, and he left us with the illustrations he did on the day!
Our creative curriculum is well under way and going well!
Class 3 have learned about the Tudors ,weather and the Egyptians.
Class 4 have organised a Caribbean carnival, an Ancient Greek Agora and
